Sound Impact invites LSSNCA program participants and Solutions in Hometown Connections participants to express themselves through music. During this workshop, participants will collaborate with musicians to bring personal stories or thoughts about the community to life.

Join us at our second Mind the Gap event to discuss barriers to higher education and recertification for refugees.

Moderated by LSSNCA CEO Kristyn Peck, the interactive panel includes Kerri Evans, PhD, Assistant Professor, UMBC; Julia Pfaff, Director, Operations - INTO Mason, GMU, and Xiomally Magdalena Cortez De La Cruz, Paralegal, LSSNCA.

We're also excited to share the findings of a new study conducted by the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Institute for Clinical Translational Research in collaboration with LSSNCA about higher education barriers.

RSVPs by April 15 encouraged, but not mandatory.

Every Thursday evening, join our Community Engagement team virtually for a revolving seminar on how to welcome new neighbors! Topics will touch on what goes on before the welcome and once new neighbors arrive. Please see the title of each event to know what will be discussed.

Each course will be repeated every month, so feel free to join one or attend a refresher! The courses will also be accessible in a shared library upon registration.
