Child, Youth, and Family Well-Being
LSSNCA supports children and youth who have experienced adverse circumstances by placing them into safe, nurturing environments through a trauma-informed approach. Services include recruiting and training foster families to provide safe and nurturing environments to children in need, supporting maternal health, providing youth in foster care with case management and independent living support, strengthening families and the protective capacity of caregivers with the goal of family reunification, and facilitating Break the Seal services to access sealed adoption records – helping individuals learn about their biological families or adoption circumstances.
Refugee and Immigrant Services
LSSNCA’s services include case management, behavioral health and community health navigation services, homelessness prevention, workforce development, and immigration legal assistance. These programs support refugees, asylum-seekers, Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders, Afghan allies, Ukrainian parolees, and individuals seeking safety in achieving self-sufficiency.
Dignity Behavioral Health
Provides affordable evidence-based therapeutic services for individuals and families, delivered through a trauma-informed, culturally competent lens. HSAs and FSAs accepted; insurance reimbursement may be available.
Dignity Immigration Legal
Offers high-quality, affordable immigration legal services in various languages. Consultations are $90.
Dignity Thrift
Purchases of gently used items from LSSNCA’s sustainable shop support the organization’s programs and the distribution of free essential goods to program participants.
ReFiber
ReFiber is a volunteer-based textile recycling and reuse initiative that works to reduce textile waste from in-kind donations.
