Join us Setember 26 at Busboys and Poets - Takoma for our "Reclaiming Childhood" Mind the Gap event! The panel, hosted by Brittany Livingston, director, foster care services - Washington, D.C., includes Nadya Andrusik, executive director, Children, Youth, and Family Services, additional team members, and potentially foster families to discuss how LSSNCA has served vulnerable youth for more than 50 years. We hope to see you there!
Join us for our first Furniture Donation Day!
Having a home to settle into makes the transition to rebuild easier for families, so we hope to get as many items donated as possible! These set-ups make such a difference.
We can only accept the following items, and they must be new or gently used furniture: dining room tables and chairs, dressers, coffee tables, side tables, clean sofas.
Because space is limited, please let us know you are coming and what you are bringing by signing up today.
Our engagement team will be onsite to receive and assist with unloading your items and provide a donation receipt. Please note LSSNCA does not pick-up donations.
