Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSSNCA) provides evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals, couples, and families in our community.  

All services are delivered through a trauma-informed, culturally competent lens, and available virtually through a secure telehealth platform in Spanish or English.

Behavioral Health Services Available

Individual Counseling (Children & Adults) – 45 minute sessions
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): For anxiety, depression, and trauma—helping clients develop healthier thoughts and behaviors.
Trauma-Focused Care: Specialized interventions for those impacted by community violence or other traumatic experiences.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Skill-based treatment emphasizing mindfulness, emotional regulation, and healthy coping strategies.

Family & Couples Counseling – 45 minute sessions
Family Therapy: Strengthening family bonds, improving communication, and resolving conflict in a supportive environment.
Couples Therapy: Supporting partners in building resilience, trust, and emotional connection.
