How You Can Help

Become A Good Neighbor Partner

The first few months in the United States are the most intensive for refugees and immigrants. To ease the transition, LSSNCA matches each refugee family with a local congregation or group to help provide additional support for a short period of time.

Good Neighbor Partners give new arrivals a greater sense of belonging in their new community. Partner responsibilities range depending on the needs of a particular family but typically include meeting refugees at the airport, preparing their first apartment, providing guidance on shopping, transportation and other local resources.

If your group would like to become a part of a meaningful opportunity to rebuild lives and strengthen the community, fill out the interest form below and we will contact you about next steps. NOTE: Groups will be paired with a refugee family assigned to and resettled through LSSNCA.
