LSS/NCA Day of Prayer
As we journey through a year of challenges and hopeful new horizons, we ask for your prayers. Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSS/NCA) has offered hope to our most vulnerable neighbors for over 100 years, and it is only with the support of our brothers and sisters in faith that we are able to continue this journey of service, especially during a time of dwindling federal aid.
Please join us the week of Sunday, February 10, as we pray for the future of LSS/NCA, our community, and our nation during a time of local poverty and global persecution. There are millions of families and children who need our support. Together, we can offer compassion by joining hands through prayer and understanding. In preparation for the 2019 Day of Prayer, LSS/NCA can provide your congregation with:
• Bulletin inserts highlighting the work of LSS/NCA and a prayer supporting the work we accomplish together. Inserts will be emailed to you for printing before February 1.
• An LSS/NCA staff or board representative to join your congregation the
week of February 10, to show our appreciation for your partnership and highlight the work we have accomplished together.
