Job Summary:
The clinical Supervisor will provide clinical, administrative and staff development support to staff and monitor the quality of service delivery in compliance with jurisdictional regulations for Birth Parent and Foster Care programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff
• Assist in hiring and training of program staff
• Knowledge of procedures, resources, guidelines related to program services
• Responsible for development and performance evaluation of program staff
• Coordinate the care assignments
• Represent the Program Director in meetings, events and in various functions as determined and assigned
• Assist in implementing quality assurance in the program
• Assist PD with the program development and with new initiatives
• Maintain case services statistics and assist with proposal development
• Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• MSW degree with clinical licensures in both MD and DC (LCSW/LICSW)
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Case management experience
• Experience and knowledge in the Foster Care service delivery system or relevant field of practice
COMPETENCIES:
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to promote professional growth for program staff
• Knowledge of community resources and services systems
• General knowledge of fiscal management
• Ability to operate and manage a culturally diverse workplace

LSSNCA offers a variety of internship programs in all of our programs including Human Resources, Development, Foster Care and Refugee and Immigration Services.
Application Process
All positions are temporary and open for three sessions throughout the year (Winter/Spring; Summer; Fall). Interns must work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Most of the interships are unpaid, however, the posting will specify either way. The internship start and end dates are flexible according to your academic calendar, and the scheduled assignments within the various programs. A printable detail list of the available internships can be found in the "Downloads" section under the name of the Program sponsoring the internship.To be considered as a applicant a writing sample is required.
