Thrivent 2009 GivingPlus Funds Depleted; New Program to Be Implemented in 2010
The 2009 funding allocated to Thrivent Financial for Lutheran’s GivingPlus® program has been spent in its entirety, resulting in more than $67 million to Lutheran organizations from Thrivent Financial and its members. Thrivent will no longer be processing any more 2009 gift forms, and will return those they receive. 2009 is the last year for the GivingPlus program.
In 2010 the company will be introducing a new program for members called Thrivent Choice to help Lutheran institutions. The new program is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2010. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
